Ingredients
- 2 Fuji apples
- 2 honey crisp apples
- 3 red pears or a mix with green pears
- ½ cup chopped black walnuts pecans, and/or sunflower seeds
- ½ cup dried cranberries
For Maple Dressing
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the fruits:
- - Core and chop the Fuji apples, honey crisp apples, and red pears into bite-sized pieces.
- - Place the chopped fruits in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the nuts and dried cranberries:
- - Add the chopped black walnuts, pecans, and/or sunflower seeds to the bowl.
- - Pour in the dried cranberries.
- Make the dressing:
- - In a separate bowl, whisk together the freshly squeezed lemon juice, pure maple syrup, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Combine the salad:
- - Pour the dressing over the fruit, nut, and cranberry mixture.
- - Gently toss all the ingredients together until well coated with the dressing.
- Chill and serve:
